2024 CHRISTMAS DAY PRISONS OUTREACH WAS A BOMB

This last Chrismas Day, December 25 once again was an exciting moment for the prison inmates at the Nigerian Correctional Facility, Afara Umuahia Nigeria.

It was a day of fellowship and revival as the Project Dorcas Foundation organized a one day Christmas Jesus party for the prison inmatesin collaboration with N&C Hope and Mercy Foundation.

 

The Word of God came mightily and it was such a fulfilling moment seeing lots of the prisoners step out to the altar, crying out to God for His mercy and receiving Jesus as their Lord and Personal Saviour. Thereafter, they got gifts of Bibles and Christian Books that will help them in their follow up to be rooted in the Word. Packs of food were made available for EVERY inmate and as that 25th, there were over 800 inmates. THERE WAS FOOD EVERY SINGLE INMATE.

 

Four inmates who were sentenced by the court with payment of fines before they are released were also selected from among those who the prison record show that they have turned a good leaf to be assisted for release.

 

One more time, we are everly grateful for the support and magnaminity of the Partners for feeding the inmates, sharing the Word of God with them, gifting them Bibles and Books as well as helping secure the release of some of these inmates.

 

In 2025, let us do more.
